Right from infancy she was among the dancers- in class and back stage-participating in ballet and modern classes from the age of 4, then later pointe, tap and lyrical. She competed in ballet and modern dance for over 10 years in the Kootenays and Okanagan and taught preschool ballet classes.
During high school her dance group toured southern BC schools with the local high school band and designed costumes for local musical theatre performances.
